Instead of planning a promotion each month, and
having to mail it out every 30 days, plan a season's worth of
monthly promotions. Plan Fall promotions for September,
October, and November and mail out the promotions for each month in
one mail piece. It gives the clients time to book ahead and
saves you the mailing costs every month. It also means your
staff knows what is coming up and can prepare their clients for the
promotion.
Below are some suggestions to start a client-building
program:

Offer a re-booking discount for a month.
When a client rebooks their next appointment within 45 days,
before they leave your spa, they receive a 10%
discount.

Initiate a referral program within 60 days that
gives the client $5 off services for every client they refer, AND
gives the referral $5 off their first treatment. Give the
referral cards to the existing clients, and validate them as they
are turned with the new clients.

For slow days like Mondays and Tuesdays, offer
"marvelous Mondays" or "Terrific Tuesdays." Every treatment
booked on those days is priced 10% less than busier days.
